As the IT Manager cum Data Entry Operator, I was responsible for managing both the technical operations and product data workflow of the organization. My role included uploading and maintaining all product information on the company website to ensure smooth POS sales transactions. This involved entering accurate cost and selling prices based on management directives and updating product details as needed.
I oversaw the full inventory process, including routine stock checks, verifying discrepancies between physical and system stock, and identifying the source of any mismatches. I also handled damaged or returned items by coordinating their removal from the POS system and processing returns to vendors.
In addition to inventory and data management, I supported the company’s IT infrastructure. This included monitoring and installing CCTV cameras, maintaining the local network, configuring router connections, and managing connectivity between the server and POS systems. I also set up and managed the biometric attendance system by registering or removing employee fingerprints, maintaining attendance records, and preparing monthly salary reports based on attendance data.
Through this role, I contributed to efficient store operations, accurate product management, and reliable IT support across the organization.
